Yoga Heroics
1. Sit on the floor. Cross your ankles. Plant your palms on either side of your backside.
2. Pressing down firmly, jump your legs and torso back through your arms and straight into a Plank (push-up) position. Without moving your hands.

Only Gwyneth can do this stuff. As the class flopped weakly onto our mats, the yoga teacher gave us a gentle lecture.
‘Your stiffness is a blessing. It is the reminder of physical constraints that allows the mind to open up and be free. Those of us who are supple must work harder to attain that freedom.’

Harrumph. Stiffness does not feel like a blessing, unless you’re a Viagra consumer.
